“Grounded: Creating with Land in Contemporary Native American Art” – In this presentation, Nanibaa will focus on the representation of places that Indigenous artists in Arizona are making in their art. From jewelry, to weaving, to photography, the lived landscape features prominently in Indigenous art. As a Diné jeweler with decades of experience in Native art spaces, she will demonstrate how the stones and materials connect to their national homelands 1:00 – 2:30

Legends of the White Mountains: an evening with author Dan Deublein
Join us for a Happy Hour Reception with our local Author who will unveil the third book in his Trilogy set here in the White Mountains. Reception is from 4-4:30 followed by a talk and book signing. There will be music, snacks, drinks and a raffle! All proceeds will benefit the Butterfly Lodge Museum.
