“The Arizona Trail: An 850-mile Mountain Bike Exploration of Climate Change” Joan spent 7 weeks in the Fall of 2025 travelling the 850- mile Arizona Trail on her mountain bike. From the Mexican Border to Utah, she witnessed some of the most pressing climate issues in Arizona today. Joan documented her incredible journey and will share her story at this talk. 1:00 – 2:30 pm

From jewelry, to weaving, to photography, the lived landscape features prominently in Indigenous art.
